Popular programs/pathways to get Canada PR

Express Entry Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) Investor Immigration

Canada’s Express Entry is the most desired immigration programs in the world.

Launched in 2015, the Express Entry is considered to be the earliest immigration program to use a points-based system for assessing the eligibility of individuals looking to migrate to Canada.

The federal department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) handles Express Entry submissions. The visa processing time under this program can be up to six months or less. 67 points will be required to generate an Express Entry profile.

If you go for for the PNP to apply for your PR visa, these are the steps:

  1. You must apply in the province or region where you desire to settle.
  2. You could be nominated by the province to apply for a PR visa if your profile meets the eligibility criteria.
  3. You can apply for your PR visa after you are nominated by a province.

An eagerness in immigrating to Quebec must be stated as the first part of the process. Those with the training and specialized skills to assist their job assimilation in the region are then chosen by Quebec and issued an invite to apply.

Invitation rounds by Quebec are conducted through the Arrima Portal. The local selection by Quebec is also known as the Arrima draw.

Through the QSWP, expert employees can submit an application for the Quebec Selection Certificate, or Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ). It is not required for applicants to have a valid job offer in order to migrate to Quebec. However, those with a job offer are given precedence.

The QSWP is also based on a points-based system like the Express Entry System.

Quebec is not a component of Canadian PNP and the federal Express Entry system of Canada.

The Canadian government encourages people internationally to invest and add to the Canadian economy, thus escalating global spotlight and providing tremendous earning potential to the business people. There are two main categories to apply for:

  1. Provincial Investor Immigration Programs
  2. Quebec Investor Program
